Welcome to
Lake Buena Vista, Florida
Home to
the prestigious Disney World Hotels of the Hotel Plaza area and the
nearby Entertainment and Shopping District Downtown Disney.
We appreciate this opportunity for
you to come in and take a look around...

Physically, the Lake Buena Vista area
is probably more part of the Walt Disney World experience than both
its neighbours – Kissimmee and International Drive, Orlando.
Actually attached to Walt Disney World by
land that is owned by the Walt Disney Company, the Hotel Plaza area
of Lake Buena Vista is all part of the experience known as 'Downtown
Disney.'
Built upon parcels of land, that the Walt Disney Company still retain
as their own, any hotels that may be located here are all required to
pay their dues as part of a 99-year lease agreement.
This area is only one of two subgroups located in the Lake Buena Vista
area.
The Hotel Plaza is marked by a welcoming caricature, usually in the
form of the leading character - Mickey Mouse, which will be a
left-turn for all of you arriving via Interstate 4.
The strip of land that is just located south of Hwy 535 is all owned
by the Walt Disney Company, and the area immediately north all
privately owned, as Lake Buena Vista continues to expand and develop
just north of the area as it works its way toward Universal Studios
Florida.
On this, the west side of Hwy 535, you'll find names like Marriott,
Homewood Suites and Summerfield Suites...
Being a part of the Walt Disney World property, you'll probably find
that the rates will reflect this. This is no doubt a prime example of
Real Estate's basic rule of thumb - location, location, location.
You'll find almost a 'seamless integration' in relationship to the
nearby parks of Walt Disney World and for the most it would extremely
difficult to distinguish the two areas from each other - just all part
of the Lake Buena Vista experience.
Accessible via Interstate 4, then Hwy 535, an additional roadway has
also been added to help you navigate your way around. Approximately 1-
block past the entrance to the Hotel Plaza area, if you were turn
right at the intersection of Hwy. 535 and onto 'Palm Parkway,' you'll
now find the road has been extended north to Orlando and now connects Turkey Lake Road as it runs parallel with Interstate 4.
One of the lesser known shortcuts in the area, by taking this route
you may find it even quicker than Interstate 4 depending on traffic
conditions. It will also lead to the southern entrance of Universal
Studios, which can also be accessed directly off of Turkey Lake Road,
just look for the signs after crossing 'Sand Lake Rd.'
Have a great
vacation!
